The Doctor Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage is a very specific skin movement technique that is used to help facilitate the flow of excess fluid in the body. It is a valuable tool for relaxation and healing.

Dr. Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage is a very light treatment used to help several different conditions and pathologies.

Beneficial for treating

MLD is contraindicated (not recommended) for those that have congestive heart issues, untreated malignancy, active infections, allergy symptoms, any edema due to kidney pathologies, thrombosis or acute vascular swelling. Also it is not advised within the first trimester of pregnancy. 

Traditional massage therapy in British Columbia is held to the highest standard of practice in Canada, and we take this commitment very seriously.

Massage therapy is beneficial in treating muscular tension, sports injury, chronic conditions such as frozen shoulder, tendonitis, sprains and strains, TMJ, headaches, constipation, whiplash, and helps with reducing overall stress.

Meet your massage therapist

Tanya Denenfeld is a Chilliwack registered lymphatic and massage therapist.

She is committed to providing unique treatment plans that target each individuals needs, considering both long and short term outcomes. She believes that home care facilitates the most comfortable environment for her clients, and prides herself in offering a comfortable space for all bodies.

As a Health Care Provider, inclusivity is of the upmost importance to Tanya. She is passionate about creating a safe space for people of all ages, genders, culture, abilities and gender and sexual identities.

Tanya graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.  She has full certification in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), and Combined Decongestive Therapy from the Dr. Vodder International School. 

She has extensive experience working with a variety of clinical issues such as chronic pain, headaches, scoliosis, TMJ, anxiety, depression, general tension, nerve related issues, sports related injuries and perinatal care. She also treats people pre and post operative using MLD. 

In June 2021 She received certification in IASTM (Instrument Assisted soft tissue Mobilization). This technique helps mobilize fascial restrictions and encourages blood flow.
